Creation, Details, Precision, Elegance.

Tamami Mihara began her career in Tokyo with a precise eye for the art of details in all design elements: colors, textures, shapes and movement inherent in the creation of beauty.

Her opportunity to come to New York City arrived when she won first prize creating a "total look" of hair, make up and nail art. She worked on prestige fashion and entertainment assignments progressing her "art of beauty" concept; ultimately earning a Green Card designated for her "exceptional artist" status. This experence continues to inspire her ambition to create beauty.

Tamami loves discovering the best materials and techniques to enhance the facial characteristics of each person's beauty. This translates on set as a perfect balance suiting the face with the story/design concept.

Intrinsic to her work ethic is the attention to precision. And in this vein, "best wishes" is the name of the exceptional hand-sculpted make up brush line she designed and developed with craftsman from Kumano, Hiroshima Japan, (an area of an almost 200 year tradition of nonpareil craftsmanship among its brush makers.) Tamami believes that the "tools one uses must be able to convey the technique-of-art and the art-of-technique intrinsic to each artist's sensibility."

Tamami is most happy when collaborating with professionals who will elevate any story/design concept to a level of sophistication that goes beyond trends. Improvising as she works, she loves the fact that in every facet of the beauty industry there is that inherent "art" wherein no constraints bar discovering the unique potential in each person she works with.

Tamami takes pride in her approach to each job: successfully imbuing elegance, to beauty, with balance: consistently.
